
Edward C. Eichhorn Jr. is the founder of the Healing American Healthcare Coalition. He is co-author of Healing American Healthcare: A Plan to Provide Quality Care for All, While Saving $1 Trillion a Year as well as the Coalition’s second book, Healing American Healthcare: Lessons from the Pandemic. Ed is an experienced and successful senior executive in the development of medical products and services. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA in Industrial Management. He began his career more than 40 years ago as a medical device product development engineer. During his long career Ed has been the Director of Research and Development for a kidney dialysis company; he helped to found an innovative successful mobile medical testing business; and has been a senior executive for a large chain of medical imaging centers with responsibility for sales, marketing and strategic planning. In 2008 he established the Medilink Consulting Group LLC where he has advised medical societies and commercial clients on marketing and strategic planning projects. Ed has a long standing interest in serving his community. He served on his local school board for 12 years and as a member of the board of trustees at his alma mater, Stevens Institute of Technology, for 3 years.
